Enjoy the Malta International Fireworks Festival of 2026 with a selection of 3 different cruises.

The Malta International Fireworks Festival will be taking place in April 2026.

Each night promises to be a beautiful display of colour and coordination, and the closing night is bound to be a true spectacle. The festival also has a competitive edge!

Each year, the festival hosts a Pyromusical competition, which means that the fireworks are designed to match the rhythm of a musical number! Awards are then distributed to the most impressive displays.

Choose from 3 nights of available cruises all at the Valletta Grand Harbour as follows:

Cruise 1: Monday 20th  April, 2026

Cruise 2: Saturday 25th April, 2026

Cruise 3: Thursday 30th April: Grand Finale

Get ready for a dazzling display by the incredible participating firework factories and enjoy vibrant entertainment throughout the evening.

Important Information
  • There will be two departure points please make sure you choose the correct timing for the correct departure. Departure 17:15 will be from Hornblower Cruises Malta - Bugibba Jetty, Dawret il-Gzejjer, St. Pauls' Bay
  • Departure 18:15 will be from Sliema Ferries, Triq Ix-Xatt, Sliema (opposite the Londoner Hotel Sliema Strand)
  • Please ensure you are on the boat no later than 15 minutes before departure time
  • Refunds will not be given for late arrivals
  • Please make sure you understand the boarding times prior arrival
  • The boat will not wait or delay after the given time.
  • If you are using local transport think ahead as delays may occur
  • The upper deck is on a first come first served basis thus arriving early is recommended
